The Study Groups and Branch Societies, a major vehicle of continuing education in the Ninth, are no longer recognized by the State Education Department as providers of c.e.. Only recognized providers can give attendees credit for c.e.. The Ninth is the first component in the state to solve this issue and our solution has become the prototype for the entire state.
