 -up to the didactic CE course Effective\, Non-Surgical Treatment of Period
 ontal Disease for Dentists and Hygienists presented\n by Dr. Sternberg on 
 October 30\, 2025 for the 9th*.  This course will be\n a clinical\, hands-
 on course with patients.  The participants will have \nan opportunity to i
 mprove their skills involving instrument sharpening\, \ninstrument selecti
 on and scaling techniques which will be discussed and \ndemonstrated.  Wha
 t will make it \nparticularly valuable is the perioscope\, which will be d
 emonstrated to \nallow direct visualization of the calculus during scaling
  via an \nendoscope\, markedly improving outcomes.  This will demonstrate 
 the \neffectiveness or ineffectiveness of the individual’s approach to sca
 ling\n and root planing.  Scaling techniques will be demonstrated\, and th
 e \nparticipants will have an opportunity to utilize them on a patient in 
 a \nsupervised environment.The course will be limited to ten\n clinicians.
   If need be\, a second course will be available to \naccommodate more ind
 ividuals.  The limitation is due to the desire to \ngive every participant
  the opportunity to participate with hands-on \nscaling and root planing u
 nder supervision.  *A recording of the 10-30-25 course is available and sh
 ould be viewed before attending this follow-up.
