Welcome to the Ninth District Dental Association

The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

ADA webinar to explore perspectives on health equity

The ADA will examine health equity from four viewpoints in dentistry

 A free webinar to be presented at 6 p.m. Central time on May 4 by the ADA will examine health equity from four viewpoints in dentistry and explore the ways dentists can work toward equity in oral health care, according to ADA News. Attendees will hear from a dental student, associate dean of a dental school and government oral health officials at the state and federal levels. The webinar will provide continuing education credits pending approval and may be viewed on demand after it airs.
