Welcome to the Ninth District Dental Association

The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

Synopsis: Most dental offices are experiencing frustration and fatigue, while they have been working at full capacity, reduced pre-COVID patient volume and lower, overall office production.  This makes patient customer service during reopening and recovery and engagement with your patients more important than ever.  Unfortunately, 10-15% of all general and specialty dental offices were expected to close coming out of recovery, and it was anticipated that pent-up patient demand and busy schedules would decline and schedules would become less busy for many practices.  Similar challenges that faced dentists coming out of the great recession have resurfaced, with additional factors driving patient behavior away from the dental office, as well.  Dr. Comizio will discuss strategies and systems to help keep your office team enthusiastic and your patient and office marketing alive and healthy, to adjust to the new challenges they are faced with  today.
