Data show increasing numbers of women in dentistry

Data from the 2014-18 American Community Survey found 31.1% of 148,878 active dentists were women, up from about 25% in 2009-13, according to researchers at the Oral Health Workforce Research Center, part of the Center for Health Workforce Studies at the University at Albany.
