The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.
In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.
The mission of the 9th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

CMS plans special ACA enrollment period for Medicaid/CHIP beneficiaries
States are allowed to start redeterminations in April

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said it will create a special Affordable Care Act coverage enrollment period. This special enrollment period will be for individuals who lose Children's Health Insurance Program or Medicaid coverage when states are allowed to start redeterminations in April due to the end of the continuous enrollment requirement that was in place during the COVID-19 public health emergency. The temporary enrollment period will run from March 31 through July 31.
