The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.
In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.
The mission of the 9th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

Volunteers needed for dental care project in St. Lucia
A week-long opportunity to provide dental care and education to communities in St. Lucia
California-based nonprofit Great Shapel is seeking volunteers for a week-long opportunity to provide dental care and education to communities in St. Lucia as part of its 1000 Smiles project. Dentists, hygienists, assistants, office staff, dental students and others who wish to volunteer are welcome to apply. Proposed dates are July 21 to 30 or July 29 to Aug. 7, with follow-up cre scheduled for Aug 5 to 13.
