Progress continues in ADA system disruption

You will be reassured to know that the ADA does not store members’ credit card data

Thank you for your continued patience as we work to restore operations following the recent cybersecurity incident experienced by the ADA. Here are the latest updates based on frequently asked questions we are hearing from you.

Membership data: At this point in the investigation, member data from the ADA’s membership database has not been compromised; however, it is important to note that the investigation is still ongoing. You will be reassured to know that the ADA does not store members’ credit card data.

Restoring ADA operations: While it is not possible to pinpoint an exact date when ADA operations will be fully restored, each day results in further progress. For example, the system the ADA uses to process membership applications, renewals and product orders has been rigorously tested and verified. What this means is that these members may see charges on their credit cards from the ADA, and they can rest assured that these charges are legitimate.

Contacting the ADA: You can continue to contact us at questionsADA@gmail.com as we work to restore telephone service and live chat on ADA.org.

Check back regularly as we continue to use the Morning Huddle to provide answers to common questions regarding this incident.
