Welcome to the Ninth District Dental Association

The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1200 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

EHC Program Seeks Input on Health Care Documentation Burdens

Per the notice below, the Effective Health Care (EHC) Program is seeking input on a draft report addressing the burdens of documentation in health care.

We encourage the public to participate in the development of our research projects.  Comments can be submitted for:

This Technical Brief aims to identify: 1) measures of documentation burden, including evaluation of validity evidence, strengths, and weaknesses; 2) different perspectives on the appropriateness of different measures of documentation burden; and 3) perceptions of documentation burden from the perspective of people in different clinical roles (e.g., doctor, nurse, etc.) and patients/caregivers.
