The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

GAO Issues Congressional Testimony on VA Rural Health Care

The United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) has issued Congressional testimony on the Veterans' Administration (VA) provision of health care services in rural areas. GAO found that veterans living in rural areas can experience unique challenges in accessing health care based on long distances from health care facilities, limited access to broadband Internet, and staffing shortages that affect access to care for this population.
