USDOL Issues Two Employment Law Resources

Jun 6, 2024

The United States Department of Labor (USDOL) has issued two new employment law resources that can be read and accessed below.

A New Framework for a National Plan on Aging

Two passengers, one elderly, sit next to each other on a public bus, looking at a smartphone and smiling. The Administration for Community Living invites you to attend a public Webinar on June 10, at 2 p.m. ET, for an overview of its new report “Aging in the United States: A Strategic Framework for a National Plan on Aging.”  The report lays the groundwork for a public-private effort to create national recommendations that support healthy aging and inclusive communities that truly value older adults—including those with disabilities.  Developed by 16 federal agencies and departments, the framework considers the many factors that help people age, live, and work with independence and dignity, such as high-quality services and supports; coordinated health care and supportive services; and accessible, inclusive communities and workplaces.

Incentives for Small Businesses to Hire Talent with Disabilities
