The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

Types of U.S. work visas

If you are not a citizen of the United States and want to seek employment here, you will need to apply for a visa. There are several different types of work visas available to eligible applicants in two general categories:

Nonimmigrant visas are issued to temporary workers who plan to stay in the U.S. for a specified period of time.
Immigrant visas are granted for permanent employment. These applicants have certain skills, education, and work experience.
