HHS OIG Issues Unimplemented Recommendations List

Oct 17, 2024

Per the notice below, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has issued its listing of the top recommendations it made that have not been implemented by HHS.

OIG has released its Top Unimplemented Recommendations, a list of key recommendations that, if implemented, would significantly improve the efficiency, integrity, and accountability of Federal programs.  These recommendations are based on OIG’s oversight work and address areas where action is needed to protect enrollees and ensure taxpayer dollars are well-spent.  With this release, OIG has modernized the list to focus on individual recommendations, removing any arbitrary limits and providing updates on the status of implementation.  Explore these impactful recommendations and see how they aim to drive positive change.
