The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9^th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

The ADA is Now Accepting Nominations for the 2025 10 Under 10 Awards

Help recognize America’s brightest new dentists! The ADA’s 10 Under 10 Awards honors 10 exceptional dentists who graduated from a Commission on Dental Accreditation accredited school within the past 10 years. The award celebrates those who excel in areas like science, research & education, practice excellence, philanthropy, leadership, and advocacy.

Nominee Criteria:

Active ADA member
Graduated from a U.S. accredited dental school between 2015-2024 (or international ADA member)
Demonstrated excellence in the areas mentioned above

Nominations are open until December 31, 2024.
