The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

NIDCR Launches Data-Driven Science Hub

Per the notice below, the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) has launched a new Data-Driven Science Hub, a knowledge base of resources and tools to assist in conducting data-driven research in the dental, oral, and craniofacial sciences.

Dear Colleagues,

NIDCR is proud to announce the launch of the Data-Driven Science Hub, or DDS Hub, a knowledge base of resources and tools to assist investigators in conducting data-driven research in the dental, oral, and craniofacial sciences. The DDS Hub website is a one-stop shop that offers information on:

·    Datasets and repositories for human phenotype and multi-omic data, head and neck imaging data, and animal and microorganism data
·    Analytic and computational resources, including cloud computing workspaces, code notebooks, and training and tutorials
·    Guidance on data management and sharing policies and FAIR (findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability) data principles
·    Data science and data-driven research funding opportunities from NIH and NIDCR
·    Data science and data-driven research publications and events
