The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

Per the notice below, the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is holding a series of strategic planning forums.

2025 Strategic Planning Forums

Your Voice Matters to OPWDD!

OPWDD is pleased to invite you to one of our 2025 Strategic Planning Forums.  Focused on the 2023 – 2027 OPWDD Strategic Plan and the agency’s progress to date, these forums are an opportunity for you to learn more about the agency’s work, tell us about your experience, and to share your thoughts and ideas for the future.  We hope to hear from self-advocates, families, and providers from a variety of backgrounds and from across the state at the forums.  Each forum will include:
  • A brief update on OPWDD Projects & Activities from the past year
  • Question & Answer session where you can submit your questions for OPWDD in advance
  • Public Comment where you will be given three minutes to share your ideas and suggestions with OPWDD
