This Systematic Review addresses three questions related to burnout among U.S. healthcare workers (HCWs): 1) associations between healthcare delivery conditions and HCW burnout; 2) associations between HCW burnout and outcomes for HCW families, patients, healthcare delivery organizations, and society; and 3) effectiveness and harms of system-level interventions targeting HCW burnout.
Medical Care for Adults with Down Syndrome
(Available for comment until August 15, 2025)
This systematic review examines the benefits and harms of screening/diagnostic interventions and treatments for co-occurring medical conditions in adults with Down syndrome, and to address important contextual considerations related to prevalence and clinical presentation of these conditions. These findings will support the Global Down Syndrome Foundation (GLOBAL) in updating its 2020 clinical guidelines, covering nine previously reviewed conditions and five additional conditions prevalent in this population.
