The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

OPWDD Holding DDAC Meeting

Per the notice below, the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is holding a meeting of its Developmental Disabilities Advisory Council (DDAC).

Developmental Disabilities Advisory Council (DDAC) Meeting

The next public meeting of the Developmental Disabilities Advisory Council (DDAC)  will be held Tuesday, July 22, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  The meeting will be held in person in Albany at the Empire State Plaza, Meeting Room 7.  You may also join at one of our OPWDD Regional Office Locations listed below.  When you arrive, please sign-in at the security desk:

The Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee (DDAC) meeting has transitioned to a new webcasting platform.

  • To participate in public comment, you may either attend the meeting in person or sign up to participate virtually on Total Webcasting.  Those who sign up for virtual public comment will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to join the meeting and provide their comments virtually on the morning of July 22.
