The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

GAO Issues Report on VA Health Care Facility and Community Care Coordination

The United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) has issued a report on the Veterans' Administration (VA) efforts to coordinate health care provided in VA health care facilities with health care provided in community settings. GAO found that the VA did a poor job in coordinating care provided in VA facilities with care provided in communities and that clearer communication could help improve veterans’ access to timely care. NY-9DDS WEB: Addendum to the Amended New York State Mandated Child Abuse Training Course

December 09, 2025 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM

The addendum to the 2025 Mandated Reporter Training in Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Maltreatment/Neglect is an additional license requirement for licensed professionals in New York State. This 1/2 hour webinar can only be taken by those who took Part 1 of the Updated mandate through the 9th, so MUST be registered for by calling or emailing the office. This course meets the curriculum requirements for the Mandated Reporter Training that all licensed professionals are required to complete before November 17, 2026.
