Welcome to the Ninth District Dental Association

The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9^th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

Regents Issue 2026-27 State Budget and Legislative Priorities

The New York State Board of Regents has issued its proposed State Budget and legislative priorities for the 2026-27 State Budget and 2026 legislative session. The professions are hardly mentioned at all other than wanting more overall money and for the New York State Education Department to have the authority to spend it. NY-9DDS WEB: Addendum to the Amended New York State Mandated Child Abuse Training Course

The addendum to the 2025 Mandated Reporter Training in Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Maltreatment/Neglect is an additional license requirement for licensed professionals in New York State. This 1/2 hour webinar can only be taken by those who took Part 1 of the Updated mandate through the 9th, so MUST be registered for by calling or emailing the office. This course meets the curriculum requirements for the Mandated Reporter Training that all licensed professionals are required to complete before November 17, 2026.
