The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

2025 CAHPS Health Plan Survey Database Results Offer Insights Into Patient Experience

Results from AHRQ’s 2025 Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) Health Plan Survey Database are now available on AHRQ’s CAHPS Data Tools.  Results from the 2025 Health Plan Survey Database include 262,312 survey responses from 644 voluntary submissions for Adult Medicaid, Child Medicaid, and Children’s Health Insurance Program enrollee populations.  Survey data were collected from June 2024 through June 2025.  Key highlights include:
  • Lowest-scoring composite measure was Getting Needed Care
  • Highest-scoring composite measure was How Well Doctors Communicate
  • Highest-scoring rating item was for Personal Doctor
