WCB No Longer Accepting Faxed Forms

Jan 20, 2026

Faxed form submissions will no longer be accepted starting April 1, 2026

The New York State Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) will stop accepting paper forms via fax effective April 1, 2026.  This change is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of processing workers' compensation documentation.  We strongly encourage all stakeholders to review their current processes and make any necessary updates to ensure compliance with this new policy.  Information and instructions on other submission options can be found on the Forms webpage and on each form itself.  Effective April 1, 2026, the Board’s current fax numbers will be discontinued, and we will not accept faxed submissions.  Additional reminders and updates will be issued as we approach April 1, 2026.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions, please call the Board at: (877) 632-4996.
