The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.
In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

Synopsis: Many teeth that are currently being extracted to place implants can actually be saved. Most often, teeth deemed "hopeless" have no clinical crowns. These teeth can be saved without posts, without buildups, without fancy orthodontic extrusion procedures and without extensive crown lengthening surgery.
Many dentists think this is impossible because the approach to crown and bridgework that is taught in every dental institution is incorrect and cannot address the proper way to handle these teeth. Cases will be shown from a library of more than 100,000 pictures taken during the last 70 years. Many of these cases were documented over decades WITH x-rays.
