USPSTF Seeks Nominees
Seeking Nominations for U.S. Preventive Services Task ForceInviting nominations of individuals qualified to serve as members of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF). The Task Force is an independent panel of national experts that develops evidence-based recommendations on clinical preventive services to improve the health of all Americans. Through its research, technical, and administrative support, the USPSTF evaluates the latest scientific evidence and issues recommendations on screenings, counseling services, and preventive medications used in primary care. These recommendations play a critical role in shaping clinical practice and advancing high-quality, evidence-based care nationwide. USPSTF is seeking nominations from clinicians and researchers with expertise in evidence-based medicine, clinical prevention, and primary care. Individuals with backgrounds in cardiology, oncology, OB/GYN, pediatrics, family medicine, health economics, and related fields are encouraged to apply. Self-nominations are welcome, and organizations may also nominate qualified candidates. Nominations must be submitted electronically by 11:59 p.m. ET, May 23, 2026.
