The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9^th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

NYSDA Asks Members to Fight Against PTET Reductions

May 4, 2026

NYSDA is asking members to immediately send letters to their legislators and the Governor to stop the State Budget from adopting reductions to the Pass-Through Entity Tax (PTET) credit. Reductions in the PTET credit effectively result in significant tax increases for many dental practices and other small businesses. NYSDA has been lobbying non-stop on this issue to prevent any PTET credit reductions. Use the link below to add your grassroots voice to this battle to save the 100% PTET credit now in effect. Any reduction from the 100% PTET credit will hurt dental practices and patients. Fight state legislative budget proposals to reduce the Pass-Through Entity Tax (PTET) credit!
