The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9^th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

New York State Department of Health Issues Final VBP Roadmap

The New York State (NYS) Office of Health Insurance Programs Value-Based Payment (VBP) team would like to notify you that the final 2026 VBP Roadmap and related materials have been posted to the NYS Department of Health Value Based Payment (VBP) web page. We thank stakeholders for their feedback during the public comment period. Given the need for alignment across current delivery system reform initiatives, the NYS Department of Health is releasing a 2026 VBP Roadmap with updated requirements and guidance for advancing VBP initiatives that focus on transparent and actionable population and condition-specific arrangements. The current VBP Roadmap reflects changes made based on the public comment period. Feedback received during the comment period will also be incorporated into the NYS Department of Health considerations for future iterations of the VBP Roadmap.
