Welcome to the Ninth District Dental Association

The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1200 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is excited to support and participate in the 7th Annual CMS HL7® FHIR Connectathon, taking place tomorrow, July 14–16, 2026.  This free, virtual event brings together interoperability leaders, implementers, and innovators for three days of hands-on testing, collaboration, and real world FHIR implementation.  In support of ONC’s continued commitment to advancing high quality, standards-based data exchange, ONC will be actively engaged throughout the Connectathon—including supporting implementer testing of electronic prior authorization workflows and a featured session focused on strengthening quality measurement interoperability.  Register for the free CMS Connectathon

US Quality Core Implementation Guide v0.5.0 is here!

Building on the work first introduced at the HL7® FHIR® US Realm Connectathon in March, ONC is excited to announce the release of the 2026 US Quality Core Implementation Guide (IG) v0.5.0 — the initial version of the U.S. Quality Core FHIR IG.  The IG builds on US Core and aligns with existing HL7 quality standards to implement USCDI+ Quality data elements for standardized quality data exchange.  The companion US Quality Core Inferno Test Kit is available on GitHub for local use and will be deployed on the Inferno test kits page in the coming weeks to support validating conformance to the IG.  A recorded demonstration of the IG and test kit will also be made available.
