Welcome to the Ninth District Dental Association

The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1200 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

Navigating the CHPL

The Certified Health IT Product List (CHPL) offers a powerful suite of tools designed to help users locate, understand, compare, and evaluate Certified Health IT products.  Whether users are searching for specific product listings, refining results, exploring developer details, or downloading data, the CHPL provides functions that support clear, efficient navigation.

Search for Certified Products

The CHPL’s search function allows users to easily locate products by developer name, product name, or CHPL ID.  Users can simply enter a search term or click “Search” to browse all listings.  CHPL IDs uniquely identify each certified listing and can be useful when looking for a specific product or version.

Refine Results with Filtering Tools

Advanced filtering helps users tailor search results to specific needs.  Filters are available for certification criteria, certification status, compliance activity, and ONC-ACB.  Selecting a filter automatically adjusts search results, and filters can be removed at any time using the “x” icon, which appears to the right of the filter name.  One helpful tip -- only active and suspended listings are shown by default, so users should use the Certification Status filter if they need to find inactive or decertified listings.

Compare Certified Products

The CHPL’s compare function enables users to evaluate multiple products side-by-side.  After performing a search, click “+Compare” on listings of interest to populate the comparison widget.  Users can add or remove listings easily, expand or minimize the widget, and select “Compare products” to view detailed comparisons.  We recommend limiting comparisons to up to five products for readability, though the tool can technically support more.  This feature helps users assess differences in certification criteria, versions, and compliance information.

Explore Developer Pages

CHPL developer pages provide users with a comprehensive view of a developer and its certified products in one place.  Users can review developer contact information, browse associated products, and see product-level details such as certification status and compliance activity.  Pages can also include Conditions and Maintenance of Certification-related information, such as Attestations, Real World Testing, and API service base URLs, as well as any Direct Review activities for that developer.
