Welcome to the Ninth District Dental Association

The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1200 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

Unemployment Services Upgrade

An Upgrade is coming for Employers, PEOs, and TPRs

The New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) is upgrading its unemployment insurance system, which will impact employers, third-party representatives (TPRs), and professional employer organizations (PEOs).​

The upgrade will begin Monday, 11/02/2026 at 5PM.  We expect the upgrade to take 9 to 12 days.

During the upgrade period, you will be unable to access the NYSDOL’s unemployment system either online or by phone.

Tax filing and business registration with New York State will continue uninterrupted.

In this upgraded system, you can:

  • Make payments online
  • Add and manage third-party representative associations
  • View account information, including balances and payment history
  • Make account updates, including address and status changes
  • View and download experience rating charges
  • And more!

What You Need to Do

During the upgrade period, we recommend you take the actions below.  Tax filing and business registration with New York State will continue uninterrupted.

Continue to file required returns with the Department of Taxation and Finance

Learn how to access or create your online account
