Cost: FREE for MEMBERS

Limit Amount: Twelve (12) Containers *see below

PLEASE CALL HEADQUARTERS TO SET-UP YOUR FIVE (5) MINUTE TIME SLOT! CALL: 914-747-1199. Time slots are limited, so register now! FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED!

PLEASE ADHERE TO YOUR TIME SLOT, as HQ's parking lot is small and will not allow multiple cars with shredding truck.

You can bring your documents in bags, boxes, or any other type of container LIMIT TWELVE (12) Containers. Legal Shred will empty your containers of the documents into their 64-gallon bin for shredding and return the container back to you. The truck will then pick up that 64-gallon bin, empty the documents into the shredding knives and shred all the documents. You are welcome to witness the entire shredding process on a monitor at the side of the truck.

Anything that contains personal info should be shredded such as (but not limited to):
Social Security Numbers; Full Contact Info/Addresses/Junk Mail; Old Tax Returns; Insurance Information; Old Medical/Dental Records; Employment Info/Paychecks Stubs; Old Loan Information; Banking & Investment Info/Statements; Travel Documents; Credit Card Receipts Statements Reports; Old Passwords; Cancelled/Copied/Returned Checks

You do not need to worry about removing staples, paper clips, or even the file folders with the metal strip through them.

Please make sure that there are NO plastics, CDs, DVDs, x-rays, hard drives, 3-ring binders, or anything else mixed in (paper ONLY).

NOTE: Small dental x-rays are ok but larger x-rays must be separated out and placed in a separate container as they will be taken those back to Legal Shred's facility and the destruction done there.

Paper recycling is also done as, by recycling this shredded paper, thousands of trees are saved each year. Also, by recycling the shredded paper you can rest assured that your material is fully destroyed, as it will go through a second destruction process.

We hope to see you participating at our event!
