On January 7, 2025 the New York State Dental Association released a video message reaffirming support for fluoridation of municipal water supplies and its continued use statewide.  As noted in the release, this stance aligns with the longstanding position of the ADA and the broader healthcare community, which recognize the proven benefits of fluoridated water in preventing tooth decay and cavities as good oral health is the gateway for good overall health!

More than 75 years of extensive research as shown that, when used at recommended levels, fluoride is safe and effective in preventing tooth decay by approximately 25% while reducing dental costs by $38 dollars for each $1 invested.

Gallagher offers health insurance benefit consultation for members and their employees on both the commercial and individual health insurance marketplaces at no cost to the member.
 

They will also assist members with their health insurance questions on either the employer-sponsored marketplace or the individual marketplace and Medicare.

Ninth District Members who sign up with Gallagher will receive, among other services, the following services:

1. Benefit consultation for members and their employees on both the commercial and individual health insurance marketplaces at no cost to the member.

2. Assistance with claims and billing issues for members on a health insurance plan brokered by Gallagher. Gallagher will also provide a customer service team to handle any administrative questions about benefit eligibility and paperwork that is needed (ID cards, COBRA paperwork, etc.)
