The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

NY-9DDS WEB: Addendum to the Amended New York State Mandated Child Abuse Training Course (Course Objectives: 1 & 6 - 1 MCE Credit)

Synopsis:  The addendum to the 2025 Mandated Reporter Training in Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Maltreatment/Neglect is an additional license requirement for certain professionals in New York State.  The addendum meets the curriculum requirements for the Mandated Reporter Training that all licensed professionals are required to complete before November 17, 2026. 

After completing the addendum, professionals will be able to:

Recognize signs of intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in children and factors to consider when determining whether a child with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities show indicators of maltreatment or abuse.
